sending emails using hotmail - doesn't work, but I can receive mail
I can not send emails from my hotmail account but can receive them.
I have been in contact with hp support who maid my desktop without success.
I can send emails using windows live mail but would rather use hotmail.
They told me to delete hotmail and reinstall
it which I was unable to do.
My operationg system is windows 7 which I know very little of it.
Can you provide me with a solution to this problem?

Update the drivers of hardware devices related to the problem - sending emails using hotmail - doesn't work, but I can receive mail
This error may be caused by old or corrupt device drivers. Virus may have attacked out-dated drivers and deleted some important files. To ensure that this is not the cause, you can update the device drivers that are related to sending emails using hotmail - doesn't work, but I can receive mail.
Reinstall your System
When you have tried the above methods but can't seem to fix your error, you can reinstall your Operating System and install a "clean" copy of Windows onto your system again. But this should be the last method to fix your error, as this will completely erase everything on your hard drive and it will take you a lot of time to reinstall all your software back to your PC. It's very necessary for you to back up all files, pictures and personal information before you do that.
